Congratulations to the new and returning OTBA directors. We wish them well as they work to represent the interests of Oregon Thoroughbred breeders! From the OTBA website:
The results of the recent election of five directors to the OTBA board are in; Carol Duby, Gerildyn “Jeri” Johnson, Bruce Loudon, Jack Root, Jr. and Raymond “Hack” Wilson were elected by the membership to serve a three-year-term on the board, beginning July 1.
Candidate Lorie Wigle has been appointed by the board to serve out the remaining year of Dr. Jerry Weaver’s term (Jerry recently resigned his seat because he is training horses in Arizona and California). Members of the board will elect officers during their next scheduled meeting July 10 in Prineville, Oregon.
